About us

EMEDIABOARD has been involved in Health Care for over 10 years. emediaPractice began when a group of opthalmologists asked us to build a number of exam forms on top of OpenEMR, a well respected Open Source EMR system. The product went live in September 2010 on a LINUX system. We then adapted the software to run on MARVELL plugs to minimize costs, footprint, noise, support and utilities bill.
We had such success with our SheevaPlug appliance, running Debian and a fullLAMP stack, we decided to adapt a number of popular Open Source software to the appliance.
We have created CRM, ERP, facebook-like, tweeter-like and e-commerce solutions.
